Democracy in India is doing great since 1947, it has been attaining maturity with time, it has solved tens of hundreds of issues related to the executive, legislative, judiciary social and economic with constructive dialogue in the parliament. But at the same time, it looked incapable of addressing some of the key issues, poverty, reservation, border management, religious freedom, corruption, sustainable development in terms of social and economic, etc.
These issues seem to only be solved by the authoritative government which has huge mandate in both houses, the nationalist government with tremendous aspiration and vision can do the needful, this is required for the sustainable development of the country, it will help the nation to continue with an even stronger pace of development, India has the potential to grow its GDP over 10 percent a year, the hindrance behind this are the incapable government with no majority in the houses, corrupt media and civil societies, and aggressive opposition.
The kind of democracy we have now, is being disrupted by the opposition, hugely intervened by the media houses and corrupt civil societies, most of the media houses run the disproportionate news on the name of freedom of expression which is completely biased, media and civil society have been doing serious meddling in democracy during the general and state election. People of India unaware of the pros and cons of the democracy, opposition helps them for the ridiculous protest which costs thousands of crores to the country, any kind of protest which becomes violent costs the nation, and these activities must be stopped. Protest against the corruption and reservation in the country erupts hawkish and threatening violence, the issues are unresolved from decades. The reservation based on controversial caste system is the biggest internal threat to the nation, the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya is another longstanding issue in the country which must be resolved to establish the social harmony and confidence in minorities and majority. Reform in the law enforcement and tax collection needs a very stringent action by the government which can't be done by the government which has a brittle majority in the houses, as we have seen it took years to implement GST for the coalition government.
The government with the clear majority in people's council and state's council could work without fear of being unseated, they could independently deliver the things in people's interest. It is necessary to do the crackdown over the fake media and corrupt civil societies which incite the people against the government policies, they create obstacles for every government's projects and policies, they are the reason behind the rejection of reform in the reservation which is much needed. Corrupt civil societies play important role in creating disruption in the restive state of Jammu & Kashmir, they help in delaying the infrastructure project on the name of environmental degradation and protection of lands of poor, and they have got a free hand as the government in coalition can't act against them.
We need an authoritative parliament which can bring the biggest crackdown over the fake media and corrupt civil society, can deal with the improper activities of the opposition and can take the strong decision in the people's interest.
